MEET CANDACE

This post is honestly overdue, but better late than never, right? 😅
My name is Candace and I’m the founder of Plastrd. Feels great to finally introduce myself after two years!
This site came to life when I wanted to create a space to pass on knowledge I’ve learned over the years. It really just started off as a way for me to pass on any useful information I wish someone would’ve told me sooner. With a little bit of hard work and dedication, Plastrd has grown into a unique platform filled with valuable information and entertainment for people all over the world (“…not just the city, but the world, Craig!”).
Although singing has been my passion since birth, singing definitely did not pay the bills for a typical teenager—so I went on to graduate college. After snagging a degree and working in several roles, mainly in customer service and healthcare, I was fortunate enough to discover a few more of my passions. One thing I learned for sure is that I love helping people, especially if I can provide knowledge and guidance in any way. I aim to give advice and provide tools that can make everyone’s lives a little bit easier. During this exploration I also discovered my passion for various arts, crafts, and my all-time favorite, gardening. Gardening is such an interesting and rewarding process so I genuinely enjoy sharing my journey with others. Helping others experience the joys of having and growing plant babies of their own is so gratifying. Check out our IG for plants galore :)
