East Atlanta Zone 6 has yet another set of rap stars in the making as their discography speaks for itself beginning late 2016. Iceburg (2019) and 6 Rings (2020) are the most recent projects by Yung Mal. After a brief incarceration stint last year, Quill is ‘Back At It’ with Don Quillion (2020) released in January.

When Quill took a seat, Yung Mal stepped up in a major way with constant progression and work ethic. After hearing Iceburg, I needed more music immediately. Mr. Zone 6 [Gucci] did excellent putting the spotlight on these two—potential through the roof and the music has aged well from years prior. Their older material fits in with current top charts in such a way more success is inevitable.
Behind the boards of popular songs thus far are the notable: Richie Souf, Gudda Tay, and Pyrex Whippa. Of course Mal & Quill nice, but it’s the producers partly responsible for the notoriety they receive. Tracks so cold you’ll be searching for instrumental only versions...oh wait, that’s just me.
