UnoTheActivist has become one of those guys I’ve become accustomed to putting asterisks next to all his latest projects. Snippets even deserve plays because the young man has been perfecting his craft. Growing up, Lil’ Wayne was carrying between the years of late ‘05-’11 with his mixtapes and features. You may disagree, but the impact Gucci Mane and Lil’ Wayne has on this generation’s rappers is obvious. Uno is 2020 Lil’ Wayne.

ThouxanBanFauni, and a founding father of SoundCloud’s second wave. Quick history lesson: RaiderKlan and Odd Future were the first groups to introduce SoundCloud to a lot of us in middle and high school. Before 2008, Soundcloud wasn’t really considered a legitimate platform for music; however, it quickly became the go-to for aspirants.

Playboi Carti ripped Uno’s flow while meeting A$AP, and ran off with it. The two were potentially going to be on the 2017 XXL Freshmen cover following popular songs together, but only Carti earned the placement. Uno is more diverse than Carti so his time is coming in my opinion; especially with his cult following. LiveShyneDie, Limbus. pt 2, and Deadication are mandatory listens; in that order.
