PERSONAL THERMOSTAT, ANYONE?

If you’re anything like me, I can never be too comfortable when I’m out and about. No matter the season or temperature, I’m habitually cold wherever I go. For this reason, I’m usually equipped with a cardigan or an extra jacket either in my car or very close nearby. It wasn’t until this past Christmas that my life changed for the better, and got a whole lot warmer, when I received one of my favorite gifts of all time: the Embr Wave!

The Embr Wave bracelet is most simply put as a personal thermostat. You can regulate the temperature to make sure it’s perfect—at all times. For me, I solely use the warming feature, however with the Embr Wave, you have the option of either warming or cooling.

For me, the warming feature is truly life-changing. Before my Embr Wave, I would walk into any establishment (whether it was a grocery store or doctor’s office) and be uncomfortably cold instantly. Now with my Wave, almost just as instantly, I’m able to get warm and relaxed with the press of a button. I’m not kidding about how fast it works. The Embr Wave can warm you up (or cool you off!) within a matter of seconds—making you cozy and satisfied nearly instantaneously. Who doesn’t want instant relaxation?!

Besides it’s amazing capabilities, the Embr Wave is also ridiculously simple to use. It works with literally the press of a button. Yes, a single button. It easily became one of favorite arm accessories. There’s a long, single button on the front of the Wave, with opposing ends being relative to the warming and cooling functions. You turn the Wave on by pressing your desired end, whether you want to warm or cool (shown with a plus sign or a minus sign, respectively), and you repeatedly press the button for increased/decreased temperatures. Initial set up is just as simple as it is to use. The setup involves simply downloading the Embr app to your smartphone and following a few on-screen prompts— foolproof, you hear me? As with any electronic device these days, you must charge the Embr Wave’s battery prior to use. I find that the battery lasts a fairly long time, with a single, full charge lasting nearly 48 hours.

The Embr Wave bracelet operates in “waves” that you can either choose from or customize to your liking. Waves vary in duration and intensity and you change these depending on your mood and/or activity. Waves can be curated for specific moods and/or activities like sleep and relaxation, or one of my favorites, work! Now that the future is here and you can literally have a thermostat on your wrist, get what are you waiting on? Seriously. Get one!
